Watch Gigi Spell

“Gigi is a bright, funny, determined girl who’s ready to show the world what she’s capable of! After years of being underestimated in public education, Gigi will be attending a Spell to Communicate school. This groundbreaking school supports non-speaking individuals by giving them access to letterboards, typing, and the tools they need to be heard.

We know Gigi has so much to say and we can’t wait for you to hear her. This specialized education isn’t covered by insurance, and tuition is costly. We’re raising funds to help cover her program so she can get the support, access, and dignity she deserves.

If you believe every child deserves a voice, we invite you to be part of Gigi’s journey. Help us make this possible.”

Ways To Help:

  • A portion of the proceeds from all S2C Club adult and youth tees and stickers , and the Autonomy Is Sacred tee in the shop go to Watch Gigi Spell. You can also tap here to give directly to their GoFundMe!

Accessible Education Team Direct Classroom Support

We all know that the amazing, affirming, informed Accessible Education team members in our schools truly make the world go ‘round! We also know that across the country, but especially here in Texas, most Accessible Education departments are significantly underfunded. So many educators in my local elementary school want to fill their classrooms with sensory tools, but their allocations from state and federal budgets cannot fully accommodate their needs, which makes it incredibly difficult to fully accommodate their students’ needs. That’s where we come in!

Ways To Help:

  • Donate directly to the Accessible Education Team at my local elementary school HERE

  • A portion of the proceeds from all products listed HERE will go directly to the Accessible Education Team at my local elementary school to help purchase the items on their classroom wishlists that ensure they can fully accommodate each of the students that receive services.

  • Are you an Accessible Educator that needs assistance stocking your classroom? Please reach out HERE to tell me how I can help!

Help Community Member & Advocate, Courtney Burnett, Purchase A Wheelchair Accessible Van For Her Daughter, Hannah

Courtney’s family has a gigantic, unexpected emergency that we can help with! Her family has unexpectedly lost their wheelchair accessible van, and this is a vital piece of their daily lives. Courtney’s daughter, Hannah, is a sweet, loving, and resilient 21-year-old who brightens every room with her warmth and gentle spirit. She lives with Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 20 (SCA20) — a rare, progressive neurodegenerative disorder that slowly takes away the brain’s ability to communicate with the body. As SCA20 progresses, Hannah experiences daily challenges: walking safely without full support, limited coordination and muscle control, difficulty communicating her needs, and navigating her environment with increasing physical barriers.

A wheelchair-accessible vehicle is not optional for Hannah — it is the bridge between being homebound and living a full, connected life. The right vehicle gives Hannah: comfort, dignity, and independence in a world full of obstacles, safe and secure transportation to appointments, freedom to engage in community activities, reduced risk of falls and injury during transfers, reliable mobility for daily living, and the ability to stay in her family home, where she thrives.
